The cold, the lack of sunshine, winter viruses: winter is often a difficult season to get through. How about treating yourself to an experience of well-being and relaxation, to brighten up this gloomy period? From December 16, 2023 to February 11, 2024, the Hangar Y in Meudon will be hosting a brand new exhibition: Recharger.
This immersive digital experience, created in collaboration with Art Explora and Oasis Immersion, takes visitors on a sensory and meditative journey: amidst the works, and accompanied by a special soundtrack, viewers are plunged into a universe designed for their physical and mental well-being.
On the floor, on the walls, all around us, artistic creations scroll past, immersing us in a sensation of pleasure and comfort. These works are intended to both soothe and stimulate the mind. Colors, patterns: these scenes give us the impression of being in a dream, both strange and relaxing.
The exhibition is divided into several chapters, imagined by different artists. The first sequence invites us to relax, with stimuli that capture our attention and regulate our mind, to relieve stress, anxiety and discomfort. We then plunge into a much more energetic universe: abstract forms and phenomena inspired by the sea and sky follow one another, creating a whirlwind of images. These works form unsuspected links in our minds, bringing back memories and emotions.
If sound accompanies us throughout the experience, it is particularly important in the third chapter of the exhibition. Let yourself be carried away by artist Yoshi Sodeoka's original creation, as unsettling as it ishypnotizing.
Finally, our journey ends with the reconnection stage: it's all about finding your inner comfort zone, and reconciling your intimate life with the real world. To this end, two artists each take us into their own zone, a blend of fantasy and poetry, to be discovered with an open mind.
With this exhibition, Hangar Y offers us a truly original and unusual experience, which should light up this winter 2023/2024.
