The Petit Palais is hosting a free contemporary art installation from October 21 to 26, 2025, as part of the Art Basel Paris off-site program.

Under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, from October 24 to 26, 2025, you'll find hundreds of art galleries and artists from all over the world. The Parisian landmark hosts the fourth edition of Art Basel Paris, the fair dedicated tocontemporary art. For lovers of this artistic movement, this fair is a must-attend event that returns to the capital every autumn.

Art Basel Paris is also accompanied by an "hors les murs" program, allowing us to enjoy exhibitions, installations and performances at various venues in the City of Light. These events can be found at the Palais d'Iéna, in front of the Institut de France, at the Chapelle Saint-Augustin of the Beaux-Arts de Paris... Or simply across the street.

This year, the Petit Palais, located directly opposite the Grand Palais, is taking part in the contemporary art fair. From October 21 to 26, 2025, the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris will host an exhibition by Julius von Bismarck, free to the public.

The German artist is a provocateur: he plays with risk and received ideas to create surprising works. Julius von Bismarck draws inspiration from articulated toys and classical sculptures to question our collective memory and our relationship with reality. With his creations, the artist questions the way in which art can be used to hijack history and political myths. Julius von Bismarck also questions the harmful effects of industrialization and the modern world on nature.
