Attention contemporary art lovers! The Drawing Lab awaits you to discover its exhibition of the moment, entitled Belladonna, from January 24 to April 20, 2025. Somewhere between drawing and sculpture, this exploration by artist Tatiana Wolska takes its inspiration from Belladonna, an ambivalent plant that mixes remedy and poison, to question vital cycles, uprooting and forms of emancipation through drawings that are torn apart, then reassembled. An immersive experience not to be missed!

Tatiana Wolska 's work as you've never seen it before! The Drawing Lab is dedicating an exhibition to its Drawing Now 2024 prize-winner, entitled Belladonna, to be discovered from January 24 to April 20, 2025. This artistic proposal explores the links between drawing and sculpture, in a reflection on Belladonna, an ambivalent plant combining remedy and poison, well known to witches. Theexhibition invites visitors to an immersive experience, blending the political and the intimate, in a physical and cognitive approach.

Through her graphic and sculptural works, Tatiana Wolska questions vital cycles, uprooting and forms of emancipation. By highlighting materials often considered ephemeral or insignificant, such as torn, cut and stapled paper, the artist adopts an experimental and committed stance. According to Marianne Derrien, curator of the exhibition, the project encourages " proliferation and dialogue in order to unite the familiar and the strange, lightness and ardor, suggestion and demand ".

Born in 1977 in Zawiercie, Poland, and now living in Brussels, Tatiana Wolska 's artistic approach is multidisciplinary. Winner of the Grand Prix du Salon de Montrouge, her work has been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Palais de Tokyo, the Frac Corse and the Bruges Triennale. With Belladone, she continues her exploration of the sinuosity of organic forms and the hybridization of the vegetal, the corporeal and the abstract. An artistic experience where the strange meets the intimate, not to be missed.
