Just imagine: over 100 street artists gathered around the theme of "upcycling" in a legendary location in the capital, nestled on Île Saint-Louis, with live painting and workshops on the program for four weekends. This is what the "Salon des Bombasphères - Upcycled Art Lab" invites you to discover. Much more than an exhibition, this new hybrid event aims to offer an uninhibited approach to art. The invited artists will be signing autographs, chatting, and sharing with the public.
Behind this avant-garde artistic event is Bombasphères, a collective led by Demoiselle mmthat campaigns for women to take their place in the urban art world and become more visible. After a jam at Spot13 organized on Women's Rights Day, an iconic wall in the 20th arrondissement, and an exhibition bringing together 80 street artists at the Lab Galerie, Bombasphères is now preparing to take over a legendary and raw location in the capital: theformer premises of Cours Florent, located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. From November 21 to December 18, 2025, this historic 300m² venue will be transformed into a veritable creative laboratory for the invited artists, during a unique event orchestrated by Demoiselle mm.
The "Salon des Bombasphères - Upcycled Art Lab" will bring together more than350 works ( from the smallest to the largest) and more than 100 artists. Emyart's, Laec, K2B, Mojito Fraise, Demoiselle mm,Adventis,Clément Hermann, Falco, boreal-horror, Raf Urban, and Le D are among those expected to attend. Find the list of artists participating in this event onthe Bombasphères Instagram page.
For this grand premiere, the Salon des Bombasphères has decided to focus on "upcycling." The works are thus designed using materials recovered from recycling centers and waste disposal sites or brought in directly by the public. This is another unique feature of this hybrid event: visitors are invited to actively participate by bringing along a piece of clothing, a forgotten object, or a piece of fabric destined for the trash, so that artists can give them a second poetic and artistic life during workshops and live painting sessions organized on weekends. By transforming discarded materials into works of art, the Salon des Bombasphères aims to combat waste.
The Salon des Bombasphères, which aims to break the codes of traditional exhibitions by drawing inspiration from the free market and artistic celebrations, also serves artists, their creations, and their independence. Here, there are no middlemen. The invited artists receive 100% of the sales (live paintings, objects customized on site, products in the shop) and each purchase directly supports the artist in a spirit of fairness and autonomy. This is why there is an admission fee for this event, which can be reserved here. It is also a way to support Les Bombasphères and the organization of future events.
Tickets are €7 for a day pass or €15 for an unlimited pass. The unlimited pass allows you to return as many times as you like to customize your object, but also to discover how the exhibition evolves. With 52 live painting sessions planned for the weekends, the Salon des Bombasphères aims to be a lively event, transforming itself into a veritable laboratory of expression and creation.
The event will also offer a rich program. In addition to live paintings and 15 murals, the salon will feature upcycled installations, graffiti workshops, body painting, performances (dance and hip-hop), and live music, not to mention daily meet-and-greets and autograph sessions.
Before it opened to the general public, we had the opportunity to discover the venue, the preparations for this unique exhibition, and the first works created on site and those proposed for the occasion. To get there, we crossed the inner courtyard of 35 Quai d'Anjou. At the end on the left, we pushed open the door and discovered the first frescoes, still in preparation.
We climb the stairs, come across other murals, and enter a room bathed in light. This is where the heart of the Salon des Bombasphères lies. While the mezzanine will host the famous live painting events over four weekends, the ground floor of this beautiful room reveals a series of murals by Ardif, Dawal & Fayalu, and Remi Cierco.
Many objects recovered and customized for the occasion are also on display. These include tin cans, road signs, spray paint cans, wooden planks, a guitar, and more. These recycled objects have been transformed by the invited artists and visitors can purchase them if they fall in love with them. There is something for every taste and budget. And if a piece is purchased, it will disappear to join its new owner and will be immediately replaced by another creation, taken directly from the salon's stock.
