Following its beautiful exhibition featuring works byMiss.Tic, the Mathgoth gallery invites us to discover a group exhibition bringing together the work of a dozen French and international street artists. Entitled "Hommage," this installation will take place from November 27, 2025, to January 10, 2026, in the temporary space of the Mathgoth gallery, located at 1 Rue Alphonse Boudard, in the 13th arrondissement.
For just over six weeks, come and admire the works of several big names in urban art, who have been companions of the Mathgoth gallery since its inception. On site, you can admire contemporary creations by French artistsJef Aérosol and Jace, as well as Portuguese artist Bordalo II andHera, a talented artist of German-Pakistani origin.
This "Hommage" exhibition also brings together the work of artists with whom the Parisian gallery has had a relationship for several years now, such as Philippe Hérard, Grégory Valentin, Speedy Graphito, Case Maclaim, Kogaone, and Lady M.Olivier Kosta-Théfaine, a self-taught artist and former resident of the Villa Medici, has also been invited for the occasion, as hasMademoiselle Maurice, who is making a comeback after several years of retirement.
For this unique small-scale installation, all of the artists explore the complexity of the contemporary world and express their personal vision "of memory, of evoking a memory, an influence or a legacy."
In addition to unveiling more than thirty works, the exhibition also invites us to take a break and watch four videos based on the concept of "Tac au Tac." The idea? Facing the camera, an artist responds off the cuff to a series of questions about their favorite song, their current bedside book, or their favorite movie. For the occasion, Hera, Philippe Hérard, Jace, and Jef Aérosol took part in the "Tac au Tac" game.
The exhibition is small and can be viewed quickly. But if you have time, we strongly recommend watching all four videos (3 to 6 minutes long) from "Tac au Tac" to learn more about the artists. Another piece of information: admission is free! This is an artistic event not to be missed if you are in the area, near the BnF François-Mitterrand. Please note that the gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
