Gleaming glove, moccasins, stage jackets… In Neuilly-sur-Seine, the auction house Aguttes is staging a free exhibition and a sale of items once owned by Michael Jackson, running until June 3, 2026. A rare chance to see, and perhaps buy, a piece of pop legend.

A glimmering glove, moonwalk-ready loafers, jackets that still look ready to hit the stage… In Neuilly-sur-Seine, the house Aguttes is staging an auction devoted to items that belonged to the King of Pop. Before the big hammer moment on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, a free exhibition lets curious visitors, fans and collectors get up close to these pieces. Even without bidding, the outing already has the feel of a small pop-culture pilgrimage.

The exhibition is taking place at Aguttes, at 164 bis Avenue Charles-de-Gaulle, until June 3 at 12:00 p.m. And the event is not reserved for a closed circle of collectors. Visitors can come to observe the lots, browse the catalogue, and, if they wish, participate in the sale.

Among the most anticipated items are a cotton stage glove encrusted with Swarovski crystals, a pair of Florsheim Imperial moccasins, and a red Christian Dior Monsieur cardigan, along with jackets, worn shirts, autograph drawings, and several personal mementos. For Michael Jackson, style was part of the spectacle: every accessory helped shape a silhouette, a signature gesture, an image that has become legendary.

According to the house, this sale would represent a major European premiere for a collection devoted to Michael Jackson. About fifty pieces related to the artist are on offer (not all on display), with highly variable estimates: some lots kick off at only a few hundred euros, while the most exceptional items could top €100,000.

How to participate in the auction? The sale is open to the public. You can take part in person, online, by phone, or via a purchase order, in line with the terms set by the auction house Aguttes. In plain terms, anyone can follow the sale, and the most determined may walk away with a fragment of legend.

For a few days, Michael Jackson's artifacts are no longer just images from clips or archival footage. They’re here, in Neuilly, on view up close. And who knows? Maybe one of these iconic keepsakes will soon change hands...
