Art Paris 2026, the premier spring event for modern and contemporary art, will take place from April 9 to 12 at the Grand Palais. This 28th edition will feature 165 exhibitors from 25 countries, showcasing a diverse array of artists who celebrate and illuminate cultures from around the globe.

Undoubtedly one of Paris’s most anticipated and must-visit fairs, Art Paris returns from April 9 to 12, 2026, for its much-awaited 28th edition. As vibrant and exciting as ever, this major cultural event under the iconic glass roof of the Grand Palais celebrates modern and contemporary art. Art enthusiasts will flock to the city this spring to explore the latest edition, centered around the themes "Babel: Art and Language in France" and "Reparation."

This year, around 165 galleries of modern and contemporary art and over 900 artists are ready to welcome visitors at the Grand Palais. Overall, approximately twenty countries are represented, from Chile to Korea, including Turkey and Italy. More than ever, this event continues to break down borders and invites audiences to explore new artistic horizons.

This fair showcases a balanced mix of a dynamic French scene (representing 60% of exhibitors) and a strong international presence (40%), including 29% new galleries. Among the established names are Continua, Lelong & Co, Nathalie Obadia, Almine Rech, Templon, while newcomers like Galerie Papillon, Bendana-Pinel, In Situ - Fabienne Leclerc, and Iragui Gallery add fresh artistic voices to the mix.

Two main key themes set the tone for this edition. "Babel: Art and Language in France", curated by Loïc Le Gall, delves into the richness and mysteries of the French language and its symbols, showcasing a selection of 22 artists. Meanwhile, "Reparation", conceived by Alexia Fabre, highlights around twenty international artists who explore personal and shared stories, touching on history, the present, the future, and resilience.

The event is enhanced by a number of initiatives:

  • Promises, a space dedicated to young galleries and emerging artists, now extends to the South Balconies of the Grand Palais with 27 galleries, of which 44% are international.

  • Solo Show, showcasing 24 solo exhibitions, provides an in-depth look at modern and contemporary artists.

  • French Design Art Edition, a sector devoted to contemporary design, bringing together around a dozen exhibitors.

  • BNP Paribas Private Bank Award, honoring a French scene artist with a prize of 40,000 euros.

  • Her Art Prize, launched by Marie Claire and Boucheron, highlighting the work of female artists with a prize of 30,000 euros.
