Here’s quite a show! From February 21 to March 1, 2026, come watch the construction of a miniature replica of the Grand Palais—made entirely out of LEGO! This family-friendly event is free and offers a fun, interactive experience at the Grand Palais.

The LEGO, those colorful plastic bricks from Denmark, have captivated generations across ages. Kids and adults alike enjoy building new worlds and having fun with a game that bridges generations. Younger children can unleash their creativity or recreate scenes featuring their favorite superheroes. For grown-ups, LEGO offers a chance to become real architects, with sets that allow you to replicate iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame de Paris, or the Death Star from Star Wars.

At the Grand Palais, the creators of Histoires en briques took on a different challenge. In the Salon Seine, a public space open to everyone free of charge, they aimed to recreate the Grand Palais out of LEGO bricks!

From February 21 to March 1, 2026, visitors are welcome to watch the assembly of this special model, which faithfully replicates the iconic Parisian monument. From its grand glass roof to its ornately decorated façade, the Grand Palais is being built brick by brick from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., by a team of construction professionals.

This unusual project has been in the works for several months: after a lengthy design phase, the team behind Histoires en briques is finally moving into the final stage — the assembly! Both children and adults can watch this intricate construction come together, witnessing the model evolve and grow richer with each day.

Did this live setup inspire your creativity? This afternoon at the Grand Palais, an interactive pixel art workshop is open to visitors, giving them a chance to test their design skills and craft their own digital masterpieces.

An you won't want to miss in Paris this winter! It’s , and no reservation is needed: don’t wait any longer, and come see this extraordinary LEGO creation for yourself.
