The Palais Galliera takes part in this new edition of the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art, and invites us to discover the art of the bootmaker, on April 2 and 5, 2025.

Art and craft professions are the lifeblood of French know-how. These professionals contribute to France's cultural renown, and to the preservation of its heritage, by preserving and creating works of art and objets d'art every day. They cover a very wide range of skills, from stained glass and stonework to watchmaking, jewelry, clothing and accessories, landscaping and gardening, antique furniture restoration...

These professionals work all around us, in monuments, museums, workshops, theaters... without us even realizing it. To bring them out of the shadows, the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art were invented. This cultural event gives us the opportunity to meet these exceptional craftsmen, through visits, workshops and presentations aimed at the general public.

The Palais Galliera is taking part in this free event on April 2 and 5, 2025. The Paris fashion museum invites us to meet with specialists on specific subjects, always related to fashion, of course. Find out more about the JEMA program, and reserve your place now!
