It's time for cathedrals... or rather their special night. A cultural event awaits us every year to plunge us into the heart of our religious heritage: La Nuit des Cathédrales. In spring, this event invites us to take over these impressive sites steeped in history, with programs specially designed for the occasion. The Paris region is not letting this opportunity to showcase its treasures pass us by, and sublime edifices in every corner of theÎle-de-France region are getting ready to welcome the general public and reveal their secrets to the rhythm of guided tours, concerts, shows, prayers and other surprises.
The next edition is scheduled for May 9, 2026. Launched in 2007, this initiative invites cathedrals, wherever they may be, to open their doors until midnight and offer the general public a program combining culture and spirituality. It's an opportunity to rediscover well-known treasures in a new light, as well as to explore a lesser-known heritage. Here's a sneak peek at the cathedrals in the Paris region that will be taking part in this year's event. Stay tuned!
