A Belle Epoque de Vaux, an immersive evening at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte

In 1875, French industrialist Alfred Sommier bought the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, and had it extensively renovated, breathing new life into this historic monument in the Seine-et-Marne region. Today, the château celebrates 150 years of this new life, with a festive immersive evening.

On October 4, 2025, experience an evening"à la belle époque de Vaux", and enjoy an atmosphere worthy of the best 19th-century social evenings. This unique event plunges us back into the splendor of the Belle Époque, with a party hosted by comedians and unusual artists.

During this nocturnal rendezvous, guests see the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte relive its history and its past: this evening brings back to life the opulent parties that Alfred Sommier gave in his day.

A blend of immersive theater, spectacle and heritage, this special event is designed to provide an exceptional and memorable experience, honoring both the château and its history, as well as the evening's guests.

But what are these guests going to see? For this unusual birthday party, the castle welcomes actors, dancers and even a lanternist! He'll be dazzling us with his magic lantern, the forerunner of the video projector we know today.

This is not a costumed evening, but the charm and magic of the Belle Époque should be there! It is possible to book a meal at the château's restaurant for this evening - an option available from 7pm to 10:30pm.
