The Parc de Sceaux is the perfect place to relax. In this spot steeped in history, Parisians in search of greenery flock to enjoy its beautiful landscapes, which encompass the Château du Domaine de Sceaux (home to a museum) and its ancillary buildings, including the stables, the Pavillon de Hanovre, the Pavillon de l'Aurore and the Orangerie.

The Domaine de Sceaux park is 181 hectares of greenery, no less. It was designed by the famous André Le Nôtre, King Louis XIV's illustrious gardener, who was also responsible for the gardens at Château de Versailles, Vaux-Le-Vicomte and Domaine de Chantilly.
Today, you can soak up the sun on the verdant plains, relax in the intimate gardens of the various buildings, take refuge in the shade of the woods on the Duchesse hillside, or walk along the poplar-lined Grand Canal. It's a real reunion place for families, groups of friends or even couples, all of whom come to enjoy the magnificent scenery this estate has to offer.

And once spring arrives, a stroll through the northern groves is a must. This is where the Japanese cherry trees come into bloom, tinting the view with pink petals. A charming sight not to be missed, especially as Parc de Sceaux also celebrates Hanami, the cherry blossom festival!
