Members of the Planète Sciences Île-de-France association are organizing a wonderful outing to the Bois de Morval, a departmental natural area in the heart of the French Vexin, to observe the stars on the occasion of the national Nuits des Etoiles event. This 61-hectare woodland lies at the foot of the Cléry-en-Vexin butte témoin, and offers a magnificent panorama far from light pollution!
Make a note in your diary for the evenings of August 11 and 12, 2023, to discover the beauty of our universe in a privileged setting. Don't forget your flashlight (with red light if possible) and a warm jacket, as you venture out into the woods with your group and a guide, to admire the skies above Paris in the best possible conditions, during this free event where you'll have the chance to observe a few shooting stars and other celestial mysteries.
From 10pm to midnight, take advantage of the vast plain of the Bois de Morval and spend an unforgettable evening, alone, with friends or family! What's more, the association regularly offers these little astronomical night-time strolls for the curious, who won't be able to make it out on Starry Nights!
