In France, 12 million people (with 80% affected invisibly) are affected by a disability. This Nuit du Handicap, which takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 across France, aims to dispel prejudice and clichés by offering playful activities designed to bring strangers together, whether or not they have a disability, and thus share moments of festive and inclusive exchanges.
This year, once again, dozens of French towns are taking part in the 9th Nuit du Handicap, including several in the Paris region: Bailly-Romainvilliers, Versailles, Le Vésinet, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Boulogne-Billancourt and Paris! The program of this free and open to all event features a lively slate of activities, from apéritifs and concerts to DJ sets, film screenings, and cooking workshops, as well as handisport competitions and artistic demonstrations.
Thus discover sports adapted for people with disabilities, such as boccia, paracanoe or seated volleyball, but also Braille literacy and the first inclusive hair salon. La Nuit du Handicap shines a spotlight on a wealth of talents, whether in comedy, dance, music or theatre!
