The Pride des Banlieues takes place this Saturday, June 6, 2026, as part of the Pride Month, which shines a light on LGBTQIA+ people and their initiatives. Ahead of the Marche des Fiertés, the Pride des Banlieues stands as the largest activist rally in Seine-Saint-Denis demanding rights for LGBTQ+ people from working-class neighborhoods. The march will depart from La Courneuve and this year it will protest for dignified housing for all.
The Pride of the Suburbs drew nearly 17,500 people in 2024 and, in 2023, helped push a bill aimed at narrowing inequalities in access to assisted reproductive technology. This year, the activist event takes to the streets again to make heard the voice of working-class neighborhoods and their representation in public space. The issue of housing access and emergency shelter remains central, as LGBTQI+ people are overrepresented among the sans-abris.
After the walk, treat yourself to a wild, festive evening at Dock B, with a pay-what-you-can policy for queer people from working-class neighborhoods and their allies, featuring a musical lineup including Venus Noire, Cannelle, 93DZ, SIWA THE SIREN, Watrfall and Kali Kalité. Don’t miss the full program when it’s announced on the event site.
