Donkeys in Paris? Yes, it really exists. Just a short hop from the capital, there’s a dairy donkey farm that raises lactating jennies whose milk is used to make artisanal cosmetic products, and you’re invited to visit it in Val-de-Marne. DEFINITELY CLOSED

Right in the heart of the Bordes departmental park, in Chennevières-sur-Marne, in the Val-de-Marne department, Téliane, a dairy donkey farm, opens its doors to you. It's the perfect opportunity for your family to discover for the very first time these animals bred for their milk, and this traditional farm, on a visit that's definitely out of the ordinary.

Come and meet Émilie Artus, the dairy donkey breeder behind this beautiful farm in the Parc Départemental des Bordes. During your visit, she'll explain all about the techniques, practices, principles and, above all, the values of such organic breeding, with animal welfare at the heart of the farm's concerns. The most curious will even be able to taste the famous donkey's milk: rarely consumed, it is nevertheless used in the production of numerous cosmetic products: soaps, milks, make-up removers, creams...

In fact, once your visit is over, don't forget to visit the farm's store, where you'll find a wide range of organic, handcrafted cosmetics made in the Val-de-Marne region from the milk of Téliane's dairy donkeys. For a fun and educational stroll around the donkeys, visit Téliane on Wednesdays and Saturdays!
