How about a giant dinner in the heart of the pampas, against a magnificent natural backdrop? Thoiry Zoo is relaunching its exceptional new safari dinners for 8 dates during the summer season, from June 15 to August 31, 2024. Dine in the heart of the savannah on a gourmet menu, including 2 special dates with a menu prepared by Frédéric Jaunault, Meilleur Ouvrier de France Primeur. The perfect way to celebrate plants!

Do you like unusual, immersive experiences that plunge you into a special world? Then this is the dinner for you. Thoiry Zoo is launching its Safari Dinners! On 8 evening dates during the summer, June 15 and 29, July 6 and 20, August 3, 10, 24 and 31, 2024, the famous zoo and its 50 hectares of animal freedom welcome you to experience an unforgettable moment.

For one exclusive evening, you can disconnect from city life and immerse yourself in nature. Surrounded by elephants, zebras, antelopes and ostriches, you'll experience a moment off the beaten track. For this occasion, forget the usual car ride and settle down in the very heart of the natural area.

As sunset approaches, we board the bush truck for a ride into the heart of giraffe, hippo and antelope territory. Then it's off to the area secured by rangers to enjoy a meal under the watchful eye of the animals. Of course, without another audience, the view of animal life is just idyllic.

A 100% vegan dinner is on the menu on July 6 and August 24. At the helm is Chef Frédéric Jaunaul, Meilleur ouvrier de France primeur. "Vegetables and fruit can take us on a journey through space and time. These born travelers have a lot to tell us. They're so deeply rooted in our terroirs and our culinary calendar that we've forgotten just how well they've adapted the exoticism of their origins," he declares.

On the special plant menu

Cauliflower served in a bowl with candied heads and a touch of parsley

Sweet pink radish jelly with pickles, horseradish cream, leaf juice and hazelnut tuile

Tomato confit stuffed withsmoked eggplant caviarand summer herbs

Roasted green asparagus served with a salad of herb shoots andherb juice ,and a mango mousseline with lime and fresh mint.

For these safari menus, available to those aged 12 and over, expect to pay €85 per person, with an additional €15 wine package for those who wish.
