Since 2018, this walk inspired by the London Sausage Walk brings together owners, enthusiasts and Sunday walkers around a shared passion for the famous long-eared dogs with short legs. As in years past, the Paris Sausage Walk remains, above all, a 100% charitable event, organized to benefit the association Teckels Sans Doux Foyer, which rescues, cares for, and finds homes for abandoned or mistreated dachshunds. The 2026 edition will also be backed by the Champs-Élysées Committee, which will symbolically roll out the red carpet for these four-legged guests.

The meetup is set for Sunday, October 4, 2026. Participant check-in will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the top of the Champs-Élysées, before the walk departs at 11:00 a.m. And true to the calendar: this seventh edition takes place on the very day of the World Animal Day.
