Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine Brazilian Carnival 2026: parade, batucadas and a DJ set on the program

Samba! On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the city of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine becomes Brazil-on-Seine and invites you to the land of carnival and samba for an afternoon. Get ready for batucadas, concerts and giant puppets to celebrate carnival in Saint-Ouen in style!

More than fifty years after the last edition of the Saint-Ouen Brazilian Carnival, the town revived this grand festive event in 2024 with a packed program. This year, it’s a repeat, and the gathering is set for 2 p.m. for the start of the processions: bring feathers, glitter and bright colors and come, too, to strut in this Rio carnival-inspired parade.

For the occasion, the carnival is shaping up to be festive, with activities, DJ sets, concerts, batucadas... not to mention the grand parade that will wind its way through the city.

On the program:

• 2:00 PM: village opens and the animations begin, with the parades departing
• 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM: DJ set by Missizme
• 4:00 PM: arrival of the first parades at Place Jean Jaurès
• 4:30 PM: presentation of the batucada workshops from 5 classes
• 5:15 PM: Demos concert
• 5:45 PM – 6:15 PM: associations on stage
• 6:15 PM – 6:45 PM: surprise entertainment
• 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM: associations on stage
• 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM: Voilaaa DJ set (Freakistan), Afrodisco
