Festival Vapeur Vive 2025: steam trains meet at the Ramobolitrain museum (78)

After an exceptional anniversary weekend and a big toy fair on May 1, the Rambolitrain toy train museum near Rambouillet, in the Yvelines department, awaits you in autumn for its Festival Vapeur Vive, an annual event for steam train enthusiasts of all ages.

What's on the program? A special day dedicated to steam in all its forms, with steam locomotives for garden train rides in the museum garden, a live steam network (in scale 1)... And don't forget themuseum's immense network of models, to be discovered upstairs, or the century-old train-object collections! Lampposts, station halls, famous trains and other signposts have been carefully collected by Rambolitrain.

The Rambolitrain is open all day on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm. To take part in this great Vapeur Vive festival, there's no extra charge on the admission ticket: full price is €4.50 per person, €3.50 for children aged 3 to 17, and admission is free for children under three. The only extra charge is for the garden train, which costs €1.50 per person to board! Enjoy the Rambolitrain festival!
