On January 11, 2026, the National Thank You Day takes center stage. To celebrate, Gare du Nord becomes a vibrant hub of gratitude, featuring message walls where visitors can express their thanks to loved ones, live piano concerts, hip-hop performances, and a special exhibition.

On January 11, 2026, a new national day is set to make its debut: the Thank You Day.

This initiative, launched by the Moteur! association, aims to foster a sense of gratitude among people through various activities, notably around the Gare du Nord. Since the start of the year, expression walls have been installed there for a month, giving travelers and local residents a platform to share their thoughts by completing the phrase: “I would like to thank….”

This Friday, January 9th, swing by the train station and join in the launch event—a celebration packed with music and art. The day will feature choir performances, hip-hop acts, piano showcases, and plenty of surprises, all centered around the station’s grand piano, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meanwhile, Europe’s largest train hub will be adorned with exclusive illustrations by Mathieu Persan, showcasing a charming vintage style, as part of a special exhibition.

A simple gesture that warms the heart and brings a smile to your face when reading messages of love and kindness! Additionally, France Télévisions is celebrating Thank You Day with a heartfelt initiative: you can send a thank you to a loved one, a friend, a colleague, or even a stranger through their platform...
