On guard, knights! On Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6, 2025, the town of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, in the Seine-Saint-Denis department, will transport you back to the Middle Ages, for an unusual event that's free for all.
Organized by the Compagnie médiévale de Saint-Ouen, the Olympiades chevaleresques brings together numerous medieval associations from all over the Île-de-France region, with a host of activities and entertainment for young and old, in the town's large Docks park . Fire shows, concerts, knight fights, ancient board games, cane and stick fighting demonstrations... Visitors will be able to discover a wide range of disciplines practised in the Middle Ages, but now forgotten. The good news is that all these events and demonstrations are entirely free and open to all, so now's the time to take advantage, especially as the weekend of April 5 and 6 falls during the Easter school vacations !
So, if you'd like to try your hand at chivalric disciplines and take a trip back in time to the heart of the Middle Ages, come to the Parc des Docks on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th April 2025, from 10am to 5pm, to enjoy this great sporting and medieval day out with your family or friends!
