Paris: Hôtel de Ville opens its doors free of charge on June 21

Have you always dreamed of strolling through the Salons de l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris, pushing open the doors of the Salle Saint-Jean or the Salon des Arcades? Your wish will come true on Saturday, June 21, 2025! Exceptionally, the monument will open its doors to you free of charge for a day packed with events.

Did you know that you don't have to wait for the Journées du Patrimoine to visit theHôtel de Ville? The Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, and the entire municipal team have decided to open the doors of this sublime and mythical Parisian edifice once again for the fourth edition of the " Portes Ouvertes de l'Hôtel de Ville " .

This new edition is not to be missed on Saturday, June 21, 2025, the day of the Fête de la Musique and the summer solstice! As in previous editions, this event is free of charge(reservations required) and features a host of activities to be discovered in all areas of theHôtel de Ville. From the courtyard to the forecourt, via the sublime Salons and the Salle Saint-Jean... the various rooms of the Hôtel de Ville will be open to you from 2pm to 5:30pm. What's on the agenda? Discussions with the municipal team, as well as workshops, exhibitions and seed distribution!

The Salons de l'Hôtel de Ville will also host themed stands, where you can meet elected officials and the people who make up the city.

This newopen day will also be an opportunity for the public to discover the new Hôtel de Ville forecourt, transformed into an urban forest, as well as a large-scale work by American street artist Shepard Fairey, alias Obey, designed specifically for the City of Paris and visible from the forecourt.

On June 21, 2025, don't miss the new and fourth edition of the " Portes Ouvertes de l'Hôtel de Ville " . It's an opportunity to discover this essential Parisian building, which has been home to the city's municipal institutions since 1357!
