Provins is once again hosting its famed Harvest Festival! A full program you’d be crazy to miss, on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Picture a unique celebration in a green setting at the heart of a medieval town, to relive the past during France’s oldest and largest harvest festival!
Various animations are on offer for both children and adults on this occasion: tractor and vintage vehicle parades, traditional wheat threshing, traditional or world music and folk dancing, a rope walker, discoveries of local products and farmyard animals for curious youngsters, giant wooden games, etc.
Don’t miss the grand parade and its wheat-decorated floats winding through the streets of the Upper Town, accompanied by a genuine procession. Dozens of artisans and exhibitors will bring the streets to life in traditional costumes for this rural festival, not far from tractors and vintage equipment displayed at the foot of the ramparts.
Admission is 12 euros to join this celebration marking the end of the harvest, 20 euros if you’d also like to visit the Tour César, the Grange aux Dîmes, the underground tunnels and the Saint-Ayoul Priory.
