Get out the checkered tablecloths and prepare your prettiest basket! On Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 6.30pm to 9pm, we'll be gathering under the trees and stars for an evening combining art, heritage and summer delights: the Pique-nique des Arts, in the enchanting setting of the Château de Maisons park.
Sur l'herbe, an event organized in partnership with the Société des Amis du Château de Maisons and the town of Maisons-Laffitte (78), invites you to take a cultural and sensory stroll. A moment out of time, where history and contemporary creation meet in a bucolic setting.
The concept? Bring your own picnic and let the magic happen. In between bites, enjoy artistic interludes, musical moments and unexpected discoveries. All sprinkled with a healthy dose of conviviality, to be shared with friends, family or curious onlookers. And before you take a bite out of art, have a drink! An aperitif is offered by SACM, to get the evening off to a good start.
Reservations are required to join this royal garden party, andadmission is free for under-18s. The picnic is subject to the vagaries of the weather... so fingers crossed for a clear sky!
