Mark your calendars ... it's going to get wet - The Festival de l'Eau returns to Montesson (78) for a splashy 5th edition this Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10am to 6pm, at the nautical base on the Quai George Sand. Free and open to all, this cultural and festive event pays tribute to the river heritage of this Yvelines commune, which has been closely linked to the Seine since the Middle Ages.

Organized by the town as part of its trilogy of elements (Earth in May, Water in June, Air in October), this festival celebrates a territory shaped by nature. After farmland, it's time for water! River cruises, water sports activities and a whole host of entertainment are on the program!

Program for the Festival de l'Eau 2025 in Montesson :

• Sailing baptisms for all (10am to 5pm), with Cercle de Voile des Boucles de la Seine (life jackets provided, minors accompanied)
• Summer craft market
