Earth Festival 2026 in Montesson (78): Flavor Market, Gardening Workshops & Educational Farm

Spring takes root in Montesson, in the Yvelines (78). After having our heads in the clouds at the Festival de l’Air, the town is continuing its trilogy of the elements with the return of the Festival de la Terre, Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Parc Départemental de la Boucle de Montesson. A sixth edition, still free, placed under the banner of green, life and local, where nature, tastings and open-air workshops will spark new ideas for outings.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday mini-gardeners, discerning gourmets and families chasing a splash of greenery will be able to sample the activities in a friendly, ultra-natural atmosphere.

Earth Festival 2026 Schedule in Montesson:

• A Flavor Market with contributions from Plaine d’avenir 78, the Clos des Vieilles Vignes, and local traders and artisans
• Delicious gourmet stalls to stock up on regional treats: honey, jams, craft beer, fine groceries, artisanal pasta…
• A flower sale to bright en up everyday life
• Free repotting workshops led by volunteers from the CAVM, with a small plant to win (subject to availability)
• Pedal-powered smoothie bikes to mix sport and refreshment with just a few turns of the pedals
• A drawing contest on the theme of nature, open to children
• A pedagogical farm featuring rabbits, kid goats, ducks, pigs, and a full farmyard
• Opportunities for children to bottle-feed the baby animals
• On-site catering with the Clos des Vieilles Vignes

Organized by the town as part of its Elements trilogy — Earth in May, Water in June and Air in October — the festival shines a spotlight on a landscapes shaped by nature. Spanning plains, neighborhoods and the banks of the Seine, Montesson showcases its passion for large-format, open-air events.

A green escape that promises to spark good spirits all day long, blending local discoveries, hands-on workshops in the dirt, and a pastoral interlude in harmony with nature.
