On the weekends of July 12 and 13, 2025, the town of Compans will go back in time to thrill young and old alike to the rhythm of its Médiévales! Two days of jubilation in the heart of Seine-et-Marne (77), in the meadows at the end of rue de l'Abreuvoir, for an immersion in the age of fortified castles and lively stalls. Admission? Free for the whole kingdom!
On site, some twenty exhibitors - craftsmen, designers, producers and proud shopkeepers - will set up their stalls just as they did in days of yore. All this will be accompanied by a colorful medieval market, lively encampments featuring swords and wooden cups, and entertainment that will cheer up even the most sullen villagers.
What's on the program? Equestrian shows, medieval battles, craft demonstrations, and for little princesses and valiant squires, family activities and an educational farm.
And to make sure you don't end up hungry, the tavern will be serving grilled meats, sweet and savoury crêpes, sandwiches and drinks! On Saturday, July 12, don't miss the Fête Nationale fireworks display at 10:45pm - a grand banquet atmosphere in store!
Les Médiévales de Compans, the authentic, festive, family-friendlymedieval festival where you can gallop this weekend in Seine-et-Marne!
