A giant reading party at the Opéra Bastille for the September literary season

Lovers of literature are invited to enjoy two hours of reading among other enthusiasts, in the incredible setting of theOpéra Bastille! On Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm, Editions Points and the Opéra are organizing their first giant Reading Party in the heart of the panoramic foyer, overlooking the capital. It's the ideal way to disconnect for a moment and immerse yourself in another universe, comfortably seated alongside 250 other readers.

What's the concept behind a reading party? Normally, all you have to do is bring one of your books (either one you're reading or one you'd like to start reading), read a little during the evening and share your impressions with your book-loving neighbors, thus creating a collective experience. You'll get to meet other passionate readers, talk about your favorites and leave with a whole host of recommendations!

Here, the event costs 5 euros, but comes with a free book! You'll receive a book from the publishing house, but you can also bring your own and discover it later! Please note that the number of places is limited, and they're likely to sell out fast!
