The Yvelines (78) kicks off the All Saints’ Day holidays with a program that smells of fallen leaves and old stones. For this weekend of October 17 and 18, 2026, we’ve kept ten discovery outings gathered along our strolls, from the Seine Valley to the Chevreuse Valley.
On Saturday, Mantes-la-Jolie steps back in time with the Mantes Medieval Festival, which marks the 576th Onion Fair with knights, storytelling and an artisans market, all free. The same day, the château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines launches its Autumn Colors for the entire holiday period, while WOW Safari Thoiry rekindles its Wild Lights following Pachamama. Sunday, it’s time for bargain hunters in Andrésy, where the big flea market by the Seine brings together more than 300 exhibitors.
With the kids in tow, this weekend's Monument Jeu d'Enfant also transforms the Villa Savoye à Poissy and the château de Rambouillet into playgrounds and workshop spaces. Just pack a light sweater: the weather stays dry on Saturday but cools noticeably on Sunday, according to Météo-France.
