Les Groues in celebration: free workshops, an urban stroll and concerts in Hauts-de-Seine

This Saturday, June 20, 2026, enjoy a day of free festivities to mark the closing of Vive les Groues, the temporary venue that Yes We Camp has been running since 2017 in the Hauts-de-Seine. From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., young and old will be able to enjoy free activities, creative workshops, games, food trucks, live music, and an urban stroll that offers a new perspective on this neighborhood in the midst of a major transformation.

A true neighborhood celebration, Les Groues en fête will unfold in a setting of greenery and shared community, and also at the Maison des projets, just next door in Nanterre. At 3 p.m., discover the history of the Groues and the district’s transformations with a talk led by Michel Mathys of the Société d’Histoire de Nanterre, followed by a urban walk of ninety minutes around the current and upcoming construction sites.

During the day, families will have access to free activities (free entertainment) such as face painting, giant bubbles, football, a paper-flower workshop, cotton candy, popcorn, a photobooth and games—all open to everyone—and also to workshops, registration required, focusing on yoga and meditation, beekeeping (apiculture), zero waste, painting, and parent-child gardening.
