The Fête des Loges, the famous historical funfair in the heart of the Forêt de Saint-Germain, is back for our greatest pleasure from June 27 to August 17, 2025. Once again this year, more than 200 attractions will be set up to provide us with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the alleys of the Forêt de Saint-Germain en Laye.
What would the Fête des Loges be without its rides and entertainment of all kinds? Like every year, this festival promises its visitors a wide range of fun activities! From traditional attractions to cutting-edge technology, for children and adults alike, there's something for everyone.
For younger children, the Fête des Loges offers a variety of rides such as Pouss-Pouss, Roller Cars, Little Mermaid, Bara Choc, Lac Bleu, MJ Cars, Speedy Gonzales, Magic Baby, Baby Yacht Club, Virtual Trip, Happy Circus, not forgetting the Palais du Rire and Toboggan. Attractions guaranteed to get the kids excited! Classic games such as trampoline, angling and chamboule-tout will give children the chance to go home with gifts.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy attractions such as the King Loop, Jet Star, Taiga Jet, U.F.O, Alaska, Break Dance, Roller Coaster, Corsair, Nasa Rotor, Cancun, Surf Party, Booster Maxx, Tagada, Katapult and Power Maxx.
Finally, for young and old alike, there's the Banzai for a mix of fear and laughter, and the Niagara for a refreshing moment. Classics such as the Ghost Train, bumper cars, Tornado, Pouss-Pouss and the adult caterpillar are also on offer.
Talking of refreshments, the Fête des Loges features a beautiful Allée des Cuisines where several restaurants and gourmet stands battle it out to treat you. Ice creams and cold drinks compete with cotton candy and doughnuts, to be consumed in moderation. You'll find Brasserie Milot in French cuisine mode, La Paillotte and its hamburgers, Banm' Bokit and its Creole sandwiches, L'Ours Noirs and its famous spit-roasted piglets, not forgetting La Boucherie, Rêve de Fête, Costy, La Cabane...
The Fête des Loges is also punctuated by celebrations combining modernity and ancestral traditions. A few dates to keep in mind:
For the record, the Fête des Loges is one of the oldest fairs in France. Its origins date back to 1652, when the popular veneration for Saint Fiacre, a monk of Irish origin, was celebrated on August 30.
In 1652, Pope Innocent X established the Confrérie Saint-Fiacre in the Chapelle des Loges, which quickly became a place of pilgrimage and procession. Towards the end of the 18th century, the event was increasingly transformed into a place of entertainment. In 1893, the municipality decided to extend the festival from 3 to 10 days, amalgamating it with the existing Fête de Saint-Louis.
Getting there is easy: by car, take the A13 freeway from Paris. To get to the Fête des Loges by public transport, take the RER A towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye and get off at Saint-Germain-en-Laye station. From there, you can take the free shuttle bus provided during the festival, or walk about 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take bus line 21 and get off at the "Saint-Germain-en-Laye RER" or "Camp des Loges" stops.
The Loges festival is open every day. Sunday to Thursday from 2pm to midnight, Fridays, Saturdays, eve of feast days and public holidays from 2pm to 2am. The kitchen alley awaits you every day from midday.
A fun, family-friendly funfair in a green setting is the perfect way to have fun during the summer.
