Chuseok 2026 at Jardin d'Acclimatation: Paris hosts Korea's festival

The Korean harvest festival Chuseok is returning to the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris on September 19 and 20, 2026. A weekend defined by a hanbok parade, traditional dances, a K-pop contest, and Korean street food, painting the town in the colors of the Land of the Morning Calm.

The Korean harvest festival, also known as Chuseok, returns to the Jardin d'Acclimatation in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026. Previous editions had already whisked us away to Seoul for a weekend, with colorful parades and the scent of street food in the air. Here’s what to expect this year.

The setting isn’t chosen by chance. In 2002, the city of Seoul gifted Paris a Korean garden of about one hectare, tucked inside the Jardin d’Acclimatation. With its Queen’s Walk, King’s Garden, and Zen corners, this little slice of Korea already sets the mood before the first drumbeat starts.

A vividly colored opening procession

Each day opens with a grand parade that sets the tone. Twenty-five musicians, thirty models in hanbok, and a royal couple parade down the avenues to the rhythm of percussions traditionnelles coréennes. A photogenic spectacle that frames the backdrop of this journey into Korea.

All weekend, a genuine Korean village takes over the park. The stalls blend crafts, traditional know-how, the world of K-beauty and webtoons. A chance to stroll, chat with the exhibitors, and extend the immersion between two performances or workshops.

A Gourmet Pit Stop in K-Food Style

You can’t celebrate Chuseok without sitting down to a proper meal. Food stalls serve the staples of K-food: Mayak Kimbap, Tteokbokki, Sundae, and many other flavors. Expect the same vibrant, welcoming buzz you find at Korean markets, epitomized by Seoul’s famed Gwangjang Market.

For practical details, the Korean festival will be held on September 19 and 20, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Jardin d'Acclimatation (16th arrondissement, Paris), on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne.
