La Fête des Jardins returns to Paris for its 27th edition, from Wednesday September 20 to Sunday September 26, 2023, to help you discover the capital's green treasures, whether squares, gardens, parks or woods!
There will be meetings with garden professionals, horticulturists, gardeners and enthusiasts, as well as fun workshops, guided tours of parks, demonstrations, walks in little-known gardens, hikes, bike tours... The event is full of inventive ways to raise awareness of the importance of the capital's green spaces, for young and old alike.
Numerous free events at dozens of sites await children and adults alike during these 5 green days. It's an opportunity to discover little-known public and private gardens, shared gardens and woodlands, and to meet people involved in the environment.
In every arrondissement of the capital, gardeners will be on hand to introduce young and old to seedlings and cuttings. Discovery of the city's green heritage and an introduction to eco-friendly gardening are also on the program for these enriching days.
No fewer than 80 shared gardens await you, offering walks, tastings, games, competitions and workshops. You can also visit some of the private gardens, which will be open for the occasion.
And this year, the Fête des Jardins Village awaits you in the Parc de Belleville. Gardeners and arborists from the City of Paris welcome you to their stands to share their trades, passions and expertise. Learn how to garden, care for and expand your knowledge of gardening!
These events will teach you gardening techniques adapted to the Parisian environment, such as planting a tree, growing a small vegetable garden in a window box, on a balcony or even on walls and roofs, or making nesting boxes and insect hotels. Valuable advice not to be missed.
