Fête à Neuneu 2025: solidarity inauguration with Arnaud Ducret and unlimited pass voucher

La Fête à Neuneu, the famous funfair in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, opens its doors for its 42nd edition with an exceptional inaugural evening on Friday, August 29, 2025. Actor and humorist Arnaud Ducret will be the godfather of this special evening in the Bois de Boulogne, Porte de la Muette.

This charity inauguration features a unique concept with an unlimited ride pass allowing access to all attractions. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Coucou Nous Voilou association, which works to improve the daily lives and well-being of thousands of sick and hospitalized children and teenagers throughout France.

Looking for an unmissable family outing to prolong the vacation spirit? La Fête à Neuneu is the perfect back-to-school event. This funfair, also known as Fête au Bois, has been part of Parisian history since its creation by Napoleon I in 1815. After disappearing in 1936, it was recreated in 1983 by Marcel Campion in the Bois de Boulogne, then moved permanently to the Porte de la Muette in 2008 to facilitate public access.

Every year, the festival transforms the 8-hectare Bois de Boulogne into a huge playground. With over 200 attractions, gourmet stalls and numerous shows, it attracts up to 1 million visitors. All the classic fairground attractions are there to delight young and old alike: children's rides for the little ones, bumper cars for family fun, duck fishing, games of skill, not forgetting thrill rides like the famous Booster for thrill-seekers.

One of the emblematic attractions is the Ferris Wheel, on which you can soar to heights of over 60 meters and admire an exceptional panorama of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. In fact, it's the biggest moving Ferris wheel in the world. Children love to let off steam in the giant balls, while motorsports fans head for the Super Karting. For thrill-seekers, the Grand 8 - Taxi Driver, the Spin Ball (the only one of its kind in France) and the X Factor promise memorable adrenaline rushes.

The festive atmosphere is particularly festive every weekend, with parades of fantastic characters from comic strips and cartoons strolling down the aisles. On the sweet side, you'll find the inevitable homemade churros, doughnuts, waffles and cotton candy. The famous "pommes d'amour" remain a favorite of visitors of all ages.

Arnaud Ducret, a much-loved French actor and humorist, takes on the role of patron for this inaugural charity evening. Known for his many roles in film and television, as well as for his comedy shows, he is regularly involved in solidarity actions. The evening of August 29 promises a special atmosphere, with the presence of the artist and the opportunity to support a worthy cause.

The Coucou Nous Voilou association, the beneficiary of this charity evening, deserves a closer look. Founded in 2015 by Marc Salem, with over 20 years' experience in the pediatric hospital environment, it aims to improve the daily lives of sick and hospitalized children and teenagers. Its flagship project, AbracadaBox, consists of colorful boxes that hide infusion or chemotherapy bags. The boxes feature the colors of popular children's characters such as Titeuf, the Smurfs, the Rabbids or Miraculous. This initiative, the only one of its kind in Europe, stimulates the imagination of young patients, helping them to cope better with treatment. Nearly 100 pediatric wards have already been graciously equipped since 2017.

In addition to AbracadaBox, the association finances various projects proposed by the pediatric departments: murals, decorations, equipment purchases, entertainment, toys, games, books and therapeutic stays. Each project aims to humanize the hospital environment and put a smile back on the faces of sick children.

To get to the Fête à Neuneu 2025, head for the Bois de Boulogne, Porte de la Muette in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The festival runs from Friday, August 29 to Sunday, October 12, 2025. On this Friday, the funfair will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight.

It then opens its doors Monday to Thursday from 4pm to midnight, Wednesday from 2pm to midnight, Friday from 4pm to 1am, Saturday from 12pm to 1am and Sunday from 12pm to midnight. In terms of transport, you can take metro line 9 to Rue de La Pompe station, RER line C to Boulainvilliers, or bus lines 63 and 32 to Pelouse de La Muette. By car, Porte de la Muette is easily accessible, with free on-site parking. Admission to the funfair is free, and only the rides are chargeable, generally between €4 and €7 per ride.

For the opening evening of August 29 only, an unlimited pass is available at €20 for adults and €10 for children under 12, giving access to all attractions.
