Cétautomatix has been a sensation at Parc Astérix since it opened in August 2025. Why not take advantage of Wednesdays and weekends in September to discover it? Europe's first spinning, propulsion-powered family roller coaster has set up shop in the Gauloise zone, and promises a whole new level of thrills and spills. The concept? Our favorite blacksmith has turned his hand to cars, and invites us to test his revolutionary tanks on his test track. Clever!
Back-to-school is also the time to enjoy Parc Astérix in better conditions than in midsummer. Gone are the crowds, now it's time for the thrills! Cétautomatix takes us on board its 9 4-seater chariots for 420 metres of pure pleasure. With tight bends, steep inclines and surprise accelerations, it's a real eye-opener. And the best part? The attraction is accessible from a height of 1 metre, perfect for families.
Immersion in the Gallic world is total. We start by discovering the Ketautomatix garage, fitted out like a real modern service station, before heading off to the test track. The highlight of the show? An indoor section where we discover our blacksmith's forge. The details are meticulous and the humor is typically Asterix.
Technically, this European novelty reaches speeds of up to 45 km/h and stands 14 metres high. The continuous boarding system accommodates 700 visitors per hour, with a dispatch every 20 seconds. Efficient! And as each ride offers a different sensory experience, thanks to the spinning tanks, you'll want to come back again and again.
Not to be missed is the Wednesday afternoon ticket for €30 with free parking. Available on Wednesdays September 3, 10, 17 and 24, this offer lets you enjoy the park from 2pm to 6pm. You'll save over 50% on the usual rate, and as an added bonus, you'll avoid the €20 parking charge. Clever as Asterix!
The offer can only be booked on parcasterix.fr up to the day before your visit. Convenient for last-minute weather decisions. Four hours in the park is more than enough time to discover Cetautomatix and revisit our favorite attractions such as Toutatis, Oziris and the Grand Splatch.
For other dates, the park is still offering its special rates. The Smart Ticket costs from €54 for adults and €51 for children, and must be booked at least 7 days in advance. The Billet Malin remains available at €49 until September 23 on selected dates.
Access from Paris is easy by shuttle bus from Charles de Gaulle airport or via the A1 motorway. To optimize your visit, you can opt for the Filotomatix ticket-cutter, now valid on Cétautomatix.
In short, September promises to be the ideal time to (re)discover the Gaulish park. And with the new Cétautomatix and special rates, there's every reason to extend your summer!
