Would you like to cruise the Seine, the Marne or the canals of Paris and the Ile-de-France without a license? Electric or motor boats for groups of friends and families are available for hire, so you can enjoy a bucolic ride on the water!

Renting a boat without a license in Paris and the Ile-de-France region is an enchanting way to discover the city and countryside. Whether you're with friends or family, this type of boating is ideal, as it doesn't require a license and the boats are small, low-powered and easy to handle.

Whether it's on the Seine to cruise past historic monuments and pass under the capital's bridges, on the Canal de l'Ourcq and the Bassin de la Villette for an aperitif on the water, at a nautical base to keep the kids happy, or on the Marne, more intimate and less crowded, to enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that goes with it, there are plenty of unlicensed boat rentals in the Paris region.

All that's left to do is choose between a low-powered motorboat or a particularly quiet electric craft, and decide how you'd like your cruise to be. Romantic, family-oriented, festive, contemplative?

Please note that, even without a license, sailing is still subject to certain rules. You'll often be asked for identification, a briefing is mandatory, and the boat's maximum capacity must not be exceeded. Speed limits apply, and certain areas are prohibited or regulated (near bridges, river commercial zones or protected areas).

A charming way to discover Paris and the Ile-de-France region in a different way!
