Ideally located in front of the Tuileries Garden, between the Place de la Concorde and the Louvre Museum, the Hotel Le Meurice has been one of the jewels of the French palaces since 1835. The chef Barman of Le Meurice, William Oliveri, renowned as one of the best, fully participates in the success and history of Bar 228.
The 228 bar at Le Meurice tastefully blends the splendors of 18th century architecture with the most contemporary comfort. Sip one of the many cocktails on the menu, comfortably installed in a deep leather armchair while contemplating the frescoes of Lavaley... Certainly a moment of calm and well-being of the most pleasant. The dark atmosphere created by the dark woodwork gives the place a certain intimacy and encourages you to stroll for many hours.
In addition to the beauty of Bar 228, the quality of the service and especially that of the head bartender, reinforces the magic of the place. William Oliveri has been working at Le Meurice for 30 years and is now recognized as one of the best. His reputation has been acquired through his experiences in the greatest palaces in Europe. The 228 bar offers a wide choice of cocktails with more than 90 references on the menu, some of which were imagined and created by William Oliveri. To accompany your drink, Yannick Alléno, Chef of the three-starred restaurant Le Meurice, offers you many dishes of his own design. From 7pm onwards, jazz will set the musical rhythm of your evening!
