Abstinence celebrates Beaujolais nouveau on November 16, 2023, with a cuvée... Bernard Pivot and finger food!

Abstinence is out of the question on November 16! To mark the release of Beaujolais nouveau 2023 on that day, Abstinence is organizing a special evening from 6pm to 2am around this new cuvée. And it's a cuvée of Beaujolais Villages in homage to Bernard Pivot, a native of the region, that the 15th arrondissement restaurant is unveiling for the toast!

To accompany this sweet beverage made using environmentally-friendly techniques - including hand-picking - Abstinence's chefs have concocted a selection of finger foods to make your head spin, and to eat with your fingers, of course! On the menu, poularde croque (9€), Holstein beef (14€), poultry tacos (9€) and carrot hummus (8€) for vegetarians.

A glass of Bernard Pivot Beaujolais Nouveau costs 7€, and a bottle 35€. Enough to toast friends with this cherry-flavored (and not banana-flavored!) cuvée. So, why not meet up at Abstinence for this 100% franchouillarde tradition, to the sound of classic French chanson?

Happy celebration of Beaujolais nouveau - sparingly, of course!
