Camargue comes to Paris at Rosa Bonheur sur Seine

Rosa Bonheur celebrates its homeland this winter! On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, head for Rosa Bonheur sur Seine, in Paris's 7th arrondissement, for a culinary and musical voyage to the Camargue! Numa, DJ Philippe Corti and street artist Pimax are announced for this unique and convivial evening!

Fancy a taste of the South of France without leaving the capital? Don't miss Rosa Bonheur 's special evening dedicated to her native Camargue. This winter, and more precisely on Wednesday February 28, 2024, Rosa Bonheur sur Seine opens its doors to the Communauté de Communes Terre de Camargue and theassociation of Camargue breed horse breeders, visiting the capital for the Salon de l'Agriculture.

For a whole evening, Rosa Bonheur welcomes all those who make this little piece of land in the south of France shine. From gardians on horseback to winegrowers, farmers, producers, sauniers, rice growers and chefs, as well as musicians, DJs and graffiti artists... Everyone disembarks on the Rosa Bonheur barge on the Seine on February 28, 2024, to reveal the richness of the Camargue (its terroir, its gastronomy, its culture, its traditions, its landscapes...). A party to which the general public is invited from 8pm!

For the occasion, Rosa Bonheur will be on stage with an artistic performance by street artist Pimax featuring the Camargue, of course, but also an encounter with the famous gardians on horseback! In terms of atmosphere, you can rely on the Peña del Fuego brass band, renowned DJ Philippe Corti and Numa to transport you to the South of France.

On the gastronomic front, the evening will feature a number of specialties, including the famous IGP Camargue rice, gardiane de taureau, the emblematic dish of the Camargue, fougasse d'Aigues-Mortes, Cannelé Camarguais and the incomparable fleur de sel.

Rosa Bonheur is known for its 'Camargue spirit' guinguettes offered throughout the year: " The spirit of the Camargue in Paris is present in our Rosa every day, but this is the Camargue Puissance 10, the Camargue that has literally taken up residence here, as we wanted from the start. We're very proud that they've chosen us too," said Michelle Cassaro and Céline Auzou, the two legendary figures and patrons of these guinguettes, in a press release.
