Shake'n'Smash, the 100% private cocktail bar

In September 2013, Shake n'Smash opened in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement, at 87 Rue de Turbigo. A cocktail bar straight out of the Roaring Twenties, with four superb private rooms... Enough to organize your most beautiful evenings!

Visit this stylish temple to mixology on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6pm to 1am, and Fridays and Saturdays at 2am, , where you can count on the talent and experience of owner Jérôme Susini and his team. If you're looking for a bar to privatize for a special event, you've come to the right place(if not, there are other privatizable bars that Sortiràparis has listed for you)! But which atmosphere will you choose?

There's the Petit Salon, with its refined, modern decor. A space located right on the ground floor, with its own bar and (on request) its own bartender, which can accommodate around 30 people. The"Panther in the mirror" room, with its large mirrors and leopard-print sofa, has a very intimate atmosphere. In October 2017 ,Shake n'Smash opened the "Phileas Fogg" space, an atypical curiosity cabinet-style venue (also with its own bar), where we plunge into the world of Jules Vernes. This room can accommodate up to 50 people.

For the more mysterious among you, Shake n'Smash has its own Prohibition-themed speakeasy! You and a score of friends can play your own music, or dance to the bar's own.

The menu, devised by head bartender Axel Amasse, is full of superb €13 cocktails inspired by some of literature's masterpieces. For example, which of these three seasonal recipes would you choose?

• "Le vieil homme et la mer", made with amber rum, coconut milk, grapefruit juice, lime and miso syrup
• "La madeleine de Proust", with cocoa rum, clementine juice, espelette pepper syrup, lime and egg white
• "Around the world in 80 days" with bourbon, amber rum, pepper shrubb, banana juice, lime, gigner beet and passion fruit juice

Tapas and mixology classes

Shake n'Smash offers a wide range of options for spending a great evening with your friends. For example, there are themed mixology workshops for groups of 2 to 15 participants, or events for up to 100 people! These workshops, from €60 per person, allow you to taste original cocktails while enjoying tapas.

Because drinking is good, snacking is even better! That's why we offer a menu of tapas and gourmet dishes to share (or not), such as the veggie burger, the timeless charcuterie platter or the duck and honey tacos.

Depending on which door you push, when you enter Shake n'Smash, you're plunged into a different universe. But each time, it's the same program: good music, original cocktails and more or less private evenings with friends... A place to (re)discover urgently!
