Gastel, the new pastry shop in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, opens its doors to offer you a range of fine and delicious pastries. Come to the tea room for a cool lunch or a delicious tea time. And for the curious, come and discover your G spot...

Don't look for your G-spot, it's here! That's the slogan on the pretty sign at the entrance to the Gastel patisserie, which makes curious onlookers turn their heads. Step through the door of the shop-tea room, which boasts a modern, acidic decor, and discover the range of gourmet delights on offer, including the famous G spot.

Gastel, which has already enjoyed great success with its Enghien-les-Bains boutique, is now tackling the capital, setting up shop on rue La Fayette to delight Parisian palates. For your enjoyment, Olivier Stehly (who has worked with such pastry greats as Eric Briffard at Les Élysées du Vernet, Philippe Andrieu at Ladurée and Hugues Pouget at Hugo & Victor) and Laurent Guedj, a talented young chef, are behind the stoves to offer you a choice of classic pastries revisited, if not original.

In concrete terms, you'll discover an attractive range of macaroons. 12 classic permanent flavors and 3 original ones that change with the seasons. We love the salted butter caramel, orange blossom and, of course, chocolate versions.

The G-spot is a pastry in the shape of a popsicle. Contrary to what you might think, it's not iced. Eaten with your fingertips, the G-spot reveals a crisp, sparkling shell with a melting, fruity heart. Whether you prefer bourbon vanilla and fresh raspberry or caramel and mango jelly, you're sure to find your G-spot.

Then there are pastries that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Generous eaters will opt for the Mac'Honoré, whose puffs have been replaced by macaroons; customers in search of freshness won't want to miss the raspberry tart, which unveils a passion fruit cream; or the Infini, which, under its lemon allure, actually reveals a white chocolate shell with a pineapple mousse, a mango heart, all covered with a vanilla macaroon.

Don't miss out on the lemon tart, which is sure to make you roar with pleasure, or the Volga with praline feuilletine, dark chocolate cream, cocoa dacquoise and pear, for cocoa lovers. You won't be able to resist the Nutella lollipops or the mini-financials that can be gobbled up in a row...

To enjoy all this, you can either take it away, or sit down in the air-conditioned tea room(with wifi) and savor one of Tea Forté's delicious teas. A little-known brand of tea to try out and take home. Choose from mango-peach tea, white pear tea or raspberry nectar infusion. For even more freshness, Granny's Secret fruit juices, 100% fruit, will quench your thirst.

Finally, note that the salon also offers a range of salads and hot dishes to enjoy at lunchtime. There are no less than 5 fresh salads and 3 hot dishes on the menu (5.50€ for a salad and between 7€ and 8€ for a hot dish). Woodland mushroom risotto, teriyaki chicken or cod back are just some of the current choices, which change every 2 months. In winter, salads give way to homemade soups to keep you warm and healthy.
