Happy winner of the show "Le Meilleur Pâtissier: Les Professionnels" in 2018, Mori Yoshida delights the inhabitants of the 7th arrondissement of Paris and the surrounding area with his pastries that are as tasty as they are refined. In addition to the classics of French pastry, revisited with a Japanese twist, you can also find cakes, chocolates and pastries in his store.

Mori Yoshida: a name that resonates in the minds of many as one of Paris's must-see pastry chefs. It was in 2018 that many sweet tooths discovered him. That year, Mori Yoshida won the title of"Best Pastry Chef" on the M6 TV show " Le Meilleur Pâtissier: Les Professionnels ".

A graduate of Japan's Nippon Kashi Senmon Gakko school and winner of numerous competitions in his home country, pastry chef Mori Yoshida cut his teeth in France, working in Philippe Conticini's Pâtisserie des Rêves laboratory. Since 2013, the Japanese chef has become a key figure in the world of patisserie thanks to his boutique nestled on avenue de Breteuil in the 7th arrondissement.

At Mori Yoshida's, don't expect to taste typical Japanese pastries. No, the chef has chosen to revisit classic French pastries: tarte au chocolat, Paris-Brest, éclair au chocolat or café, tarte au citron or the inevitable flan... Thanks to his savoir-faire, which blends French tradition and Japanese creativity, the chef also allows himself a few deviations from the norm from time to time, integrating Japanese ingredients into his creations. For example, the Paris-Brest can be enjoyed with black sesame, while the chocolate tart is transformed into a matcha tart. And let's not forget his Japanese-style strawberry pastry, rolled up and super-light!

Please note that the pastries in the store vary, depending of course on the season. On this particular day, we discover two of Mori Yoshida 's must-have creations in the window: the magnificent and alluring Mont-Blanc and the"Beige" cake. We really fall for the latter, which is composed of a sweet chocolate pastry, a flaky praline, an orange ganache and an Earl Grey tea and lime mousse for a tangy touch. A beautiful and succulent creation, both light and original.

Another favorite is the boule coco vanille, made with a joconde almond cookie and a memorable coconut mousse. An incredibly airy dessert that makes you feel like you're eating a cloud! Finally, we opt for the famous cheesecake with a crunchy speculoos cookie base.

But that's not all. Mori Yoshida's patisserie also offers an assortment of chocolates, viennoiseries and cakes, just to diversify the pleasures. In short, a must-visit address in Paris for all pastry lovers!
