Tartelettes is an original Parisian patisserie that invites you to discover delicious tarts in both sweet and savory versions. Here's an address that's sure to please everyone!

It was a concept that had to be thought of! In the heart of Paris, in the 2nd arrondissement, an unusual patisserie has sprung up on the rue Montmartre. Its turquoise frontage may stand out on this busy thoroughfare with its many good addresses, but its originality is sure to seduce the curious, eager for good discoveries. And so it was that Tartelettes became a hot spot for local gourmands.

By its name, you've guessed it: this patisserie specializes in tarts. Here, you'll discover seasonal creations, made with the finest ingredients, including organic flour from Gilles Matignon's artisan mill in Château-Landon, Seine-et-Marne. But Tartelettes also reconciles sweet and savoury tooths. We promised you a spot that would make everyone agree, and we're proving it.

In the sweet version on the current menu, this spot sublimates the flavors of autumn: Pistachio from Iran, Hazelnut from Piedmont, or Vanilla Pecan, it even offers us a gluten-free version of the tartlet with an original recipe Café Sésame Noir. In each case, we discover magnificent work on textures, and respect for the real flavors that make up these tarts. Low in sugar and very well-balanced, we've fallen in love with all of them, so much so that we can't tell you which one we liked best!

For savoury eaters, the menu is just as tempting. Behind the "Jardin d'hiver" is asavory tart with shallot confit, roasted winter vegetables (multicolored carrots, parsnips, turnips) and zaatar. The "Sous-Bois" unveils a recipe with button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms and flat parsley, while the Kare Curry surprises with a composition based on Suzuka vegetarian Japanese curry in a puff pastry inverted with PDO butter.

Last but not least, Tartelettes also offers homemade drinks, sometimes with original creations such as golden sesame and black sesame latte, which we recommend you try as a matter of urgency! And for Sunday bruncheurs, the restaurant also offers a brunch formula at 28€, comprising a savoury dish, a sweet treat, a sweet tartelette, a hot drink and a cold beverage.

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
