In the 17th arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Place de l'Etoile dominated by theArc de Triomphe, theHotel Miss Fuller awaits travelers and locals alike in its art nouveau setting, a tribute to the Paris of the Belle Époque. Here, gourmets may well find their next haunt. The hotel's restaurant, Le Serpentine, offers a generous all-you-can-eat brunch in a luminous, arty setting, with good value for money.

The Serpentine' s menu is usually quite small, but it offers a varied selection, and that's a good sign, because here you can enjoy home cooking... just like at home! Add to that recipes featuring only seasonal produce, and you've already got a spot that ticks a lot of boxes. Every weekend, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as bank holidays, the brunch formula brings even more gourmet delights to this welcoming spot. Depending on the day, you can expect to pay either €39 or €46 for the all-you-can-eat option, and €20 for children under 12.
A glass of champagne is systematically offered to guests on arrival, at no extra charge. Along the bar counter, the buffet awaits. Throughout the brunch, the dishes are renewed, and each time we return, we find yet more victuals to delight sweet and savory beaks alike.
Several variations of gourmet quiches, fresh salads, the must-have dips including homemade hummus and guacamole, but not only: there's also a seafood platter with oysters, whelks and shrimps served with mayonnaise and shallot sauce, which should delight lovers of iodized flavors, as well as smoked salmon and tuna tartare.

As for desserts, there's something for everyone, from the excellent light chocolate mousse to the regressive rice pudding scented with orange blossom, praline puffs and fruity shortbread, sweet tooths won't be left out. Not forgetting, of course, the indispensable viennoiseries and selection of breads. All in all, the address makes a point of offering only quality products, which we applaud.

Drinks include tea, coffee, orange juice and grapefruit juice. However, if for you brunch must be accompanied by "barista" type beverages, including the matcha, chai and golden latte trinity, these will be absent. On the other hand, if you're still a fan of classic teas, you'll find a pretty nice selection.

As far as the dishes are concerned, as mentioned above, you can expect a limited range, but one that's nonetheless varied enough to suit everyone. These include eggs, a brunch staple, which the restaurant will concoct as you wish with the toppings of your choice, roast chicken with mashed potatoes, cod in lemon beurre blanc accompanied by fennel confit, or homemade truffle gnocchi sprinkled with a parmesan crumble. It was the latter that we fell for, and we had no regrets: served directly in its copper cassolette, this comforting dish, garnished with forest mushrooms, was a real treat.
On the whole, we recommend this brunch not only for its good value for money, given its location just a stone's throw from theArc de Triomphe, but also for its varied offering and the fact that it includes and democratizes rather noble products. With homemade recipes and a respect for seasonality that promises a frequent renewal of the menu, we appreciate this address that has the will to do well, with a warm and attentive team. TheHotel Miss Fuller also offers brunch and wellness packages, so you can combine a gourmet moment with relaxation and access to its spa area.
