In this historic building, over 120 years old and nestled a stone's throw from the Maison de Zola-Musée Dreyfus, settle in comfortably for a gourmet experience that is definitely worth the detour.

Upon arrival, we are charmed by the setting, which looks like an impressionist painting in the fall. A beautiful terrace with a building overlooking the water is just what we like.

Once inside, you'll discover a decor that transports you straight into the atmosphere of a boat. Between the soft benches, the large tables perfect for groups of friends, and the small, intimate tables for lovers facing the water, not to mention the terrace as soon as the sun comes out, everyone can find their own little corner of happiness. The large bay windows act as living pictures of the Seine, bathing the entire space in truly soothing natural light.

From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended opening hours until 5 p.m., treat yourself to a generous all-you-can-eat buffet that is regularly replenished. On the menu for this Sunday brunch: unlimited hot drinks and juices, homemade desserts, and ultra-indulgent pastries. We fell in love with the raspberry rolls and chocolate-filled croissants. On the savory side, there's plenty to choose from with a wide variety of salads, quiches, bagels, and wraps.

Just 40 minutes from the capital by car via the A13 or A14 (exit 7), the restaurant has a large free car park right next door, which makes things a lot easier. If you prefer public transportation, that's also an option: take line J from Saint-Lazare to Villennes-sur-Seine, then bus 43 to the Château stop in Médan. It's a little effort that's well rewarded by the view.

It's also worth noting that the restaurant can get a little lively when it's full, but the atmosphere is decidedly friendly and good-natured. In terms of budget, at €46 per person excluding alcoholic beverages, it's not the cheapest brunch in the area, but the quality and setting justify the price.
