Halloween 2026: Carve your pumpkin in a workshop at Ferme de Viltain (78)

During the vacances de la Toussaint, the ferme de Viltain offers children a pumpkin carving workshop to celebrate Halloween in style. From 21 to 23 October and from 26 to 30 October 2026, come with your family to discover the ferme de Viltain in Jouy-en-Josas, Yvelines, and leave with your Jack o' Lantern carved by your children.

For children aged 4 to 14, the workshop lasts one hour and costs €9.90 per child, pumpkin included. Sessions run between 10:00 and 17:30 on reservation, under a tent, near the shop for carving the pumpkin (the price is included in the workshop). After or before the workshop, it’s also an opportunity to visit the milking parlor and the stables where the farm’s young calves live, which are accessible every day of the year, from 9:00 to 19:00. From 15:30, don’t miss the cow milking to see how milk is drawn in a farm like the Ferme de Viltain!

Children must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent. Adult companions do not need to book. The workshops are not open to groups and will not take place on October 24 and 25.

Otherwise, swing by the market to stock up on products made or grown on site!
