Founded in 1892 by Edmond de Goncourt's will, theAcadémie Goncourt came into being in 1902, and has been awarding its first prize since 1914 at the famous Drouant restaurant. What if, for the duration of a meal, you could step into the shoes of an Academician?
On the occasion of the Prix Goncourt 2023 being awarded on November 7, Drouant is opening its doors to gourmets for an unforgettable cultural and gastronomic experience from November 8 to December 15, 2023: a tasting of the special menu usually served to Academicians on the day of the award ceremony!
Available in 3 or 6 courses, depending on your taste, this 190€ menu can be accompanied, if you wish, bywine and food pairings (additional 120€) for even greater pleasure. For lunch or dinner, the experience begins with a glass of champagne, before enjoying the menu, which this year features dishes in tribute to the illustrious figures who have left their mark on the literary prize and the venue, on the occasion of the Goncourt's 121st anniversary.
Afterwards, if they're free, guests can explore the famous Salon Goncourt and the library!
