Bältis, the Franco-Lebanese ice-cream maker, opens a second gourmet address in Montorgueil. It's the perfect opportunity to discover two new, never-before-seen flavors and a series of frozen cocktails.

At Bältis, you can enjoy ice creams with a Franco-Lebanese identity. Since summer 2022, the experience has been unique: a trip to the heart of Beirut without leaving the Marais. Today, the destination is Montorgueil. To celebrate this new opening, two new fragrances have been created in collaboration with MOF glacier Jean-Thomas Schneider.

It's in this spirit of cultural fusion that these two cousins, Jean-Michel de Tarrazi and Nadim Kettaneh, have established a genuine commitment to product traceability and fine craftsmanship. Their work with Jean-Thomas Schneider, Meilleur Ouvrier de France glacier 2019, has resulted in ice creams with flavors without borders, made on site fromorganically grown ingredients.

Discover, for example, one of the new recipes: a smooth, soft ice cream with thyme and olive oil, reminiscent of a traditional Lebanese breakfast. The emblematic flavor of Lebanon, thyme, is generously infused in organic whole milk. The whole is rounded off with extra-virgin olive oil added before turbining to preserve its full flavour. What's new? A fig sorbet, powerful in taste and creamy in texture, made from the pulp of dried figs, a Lebanese tradition.

In addition to ice creams, Bältis also offers specialties such as Achta ice cream, which hides a coat of crushed pistachios and artisanal "angel hair". Not forgetting a collection of iced cocktails in collaboration with Kissproof. This year, discover three cocktails based on emblematic Bältis flavors.

Here are the delicious discoveries awaiting you:

  • Abrisco: A cocktail based on Pisco, Absinthe and Saint-Germain that sublimates the aromatic power of apricot sorbet,
  • Un Jardin à Beyrouth: A floral, refreshing, fruity and aniseed cocktail based on vodka infused with artisanal arak,
  • Rhum Orient: A gourmet cocktail combining Achta ice cream and organic coffee ice cream in a blend of two Jamaican rums.

In short, there's plenty to discover, eat and, of course, refresh . There's also a lovely terrace where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the Batignolles district. For practical information, note that the store is open every day from 12pm to 11pm at 54, rue Tiquetone in the 2nd arrondissement. Count €4.30 for a scoop of ice cream and €8 for an iced cocktail.
