Crazy new ice cream alert in Paris's 6th arrondissement. Make way for Glacier des Près, the new ice cream parlour in the extension of Brasserie des Près (part of the Brasserie Bellanger, Dubillot, Martin group). Fresh, homemade and even a Paris-Brest ice cream, we run, we fly.

Why not treat yourself to a delicious homemade ice cream? From July 1, 2023, in the heart of Paris's 6th arrondissement, discover Glacier des Près, an extension of Brasserie des Près, the new gourmet address added to the list of nuggets from the Brasserie Bellanger, Dubillot and Martin group. A tasty journey awaits lovers of artisanal ice creams, with new flavors such as Paris-Brest.

In the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, La Nouvelle Garde, already behind Brasseries Bellanger, Dubillot and Martin, is breathing new life into Parisian gastronomy with Brasserie des Prés and Glacier des Prés. At the helm of this enterprise is a duo of passionate chefs committed to promoting raw, local produce. Their credo: homemade. The result is a vibrantly atmospheric table de terroir, offering traditional French cuisine with a bold new twist.

At the same time,Le Glacier des Près opens its doors, offering another facet of gastronomy, that of frozen treats. The ice cream parlour, twin to the brasserie, shares the same philosophy: freshness and homemade. It stands out for its retro aesthetic: a crimson façade, sash windows and an old-fashioned sign.

The ice creams and sorbets, turbinated in-house, are ideal for a stroll along the quays or in the alleys of the Luxembourg Gardens. No extravagant flavors here, but a limited selection of quality flavors to savor that change with the seasons: vanilla, yogurt, Corsican mandarin, Sicilian lemon... Seasonal fruit sorbets, such as vine peach, round off the range to the delight of gourmets. A special mention goes to the " Paris-Brest " praline ice cream, a reference to the famous dessert served in the Group's brasseries. With its homemade praline and caramelized hazelnuts, it's a real knockout.
